Treatments
Therapists at the Wilmington Family Counseling Service work with the individual,
couple, or family to seek a new understanding of the problem and new means
of coping with it. This exploration often lasts from five to ten sessions
of fifty minutes each but may continue over a more extended period of
time.
The agency offers
group workshops dealing with particular life stresses at different times
during the year such as:
- Relationships
- Parenting
- Blended Family
- Stress Management
- Early Sobriety
- Empowerment for
Women
- Men's Issues
- Self-Esteem
